Acceptance of the general conditions of sale
1. If the Client is a private customer (i.e. an individual who purchases the goods for purposes not related to his or her professional activity), once the on-line purchasing procedure has been completed, he or she will print out or electronically save or in any event conserve the present general conditions of sale, in accordance with the specifications of Articles 3 and 4 of Italian Governmental Decree 185/1999 governing on-line sales.

Purchasing modes and delivery times
2. The Client may only purchase products that appear in the electronic catalogue at the moment the order is made and that may be viewed on-line at the URL address http://www.libreriaipzs.com, as described in the respective informational pages. It is understood that any image appearing alongside the description of a product may not be exactly representative of its characteristics.

2.1 The correct reception of an order is confirmed by means of an e-mail message, which is sent to the e-mail address supplied by the Client. This confirmation message shows the date and time that an order is made and a ‘Client Order Number’, which should be used as a reference in any later communication.

2.2 All the prices shown include V.A.T.

2.3 All orders made correctly and processed successfully will be effectuated within 7 seven working days from the moment the order is made.

Modes of payment
3. Credit card
In the event of purchase using a credit card for payment, as soon as the transaction has been completed on-line, the bank or financial institution of reference will take measures to authorise only the amount involved in the purchase effectuated. The amount relating to the goods dispatched will be actually debited on the Client’s credit card within 7 days from receipt of the order.

3.1 In the event of the order being cancelled by the Client, a request for cancellation of the transaction will be immediately made, along with a request for the removal of the amount debited. The time period for the removal of the debit, for some types of credit cards, depends exclusively on the banking system in use and may extend up to the date of its natural expiration (24 days from the date of authorisation). Once the transaction has been cancelled, in no case will Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. be held responsible for possible damages, direct or indirect, resulting from a delay in the removal of the amount debited by the banking system.

3.2 Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. reserves the right to request additional information from the Client (for example, a fixed telephone number) or the receipt of copies of documents proving that the Client is the owner of the credit card in question. In the absence of the documentation requested, Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. reserves the right to refuse the order.

3.3 At no time during the purchasing procedure is Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. in possession of the information relating to the Client’s credit card; such data is transmitted by means of a protected connection directly to the site of the bank or financial institution that manages the transaction. No archive pertaining to Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. preserves such data. In no case, therefore, will Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. be held responsible for fraudulent or unauthorised use of the credit card by third parties upon payment for products purchased from our site.

Right to rescind
4. In accordance with Article 5 of Italian Governmental Decree 185/1999, if the Client is a private customer (i.e. an individual who is purchasing the goods for purposes not related to his or her professional activity, and who therefore does not make the purchase indicating to Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. a V.A.T. reference number in the order form), the Client has the right to rescind from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide an explanation and without incurring any penalty.

4.1 In order to exercise this right, the client must send to Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. a letter indicated this desire, within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the goods. This communication must be made by means of registered mail with return receipt, addressed to:

Alternatively, notification may be made by means of fax to the following number: +39 02 863684, again within 10 days of receipt of goods. The fax message must be followed up by a confirmation in writing by means of registered mail with return receipt.

4.2 The right to rescind from the contract is however subject to the following conditions:

• the right is applied to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise the right to rescind for just a part of the product purchased (e.g. accessories);

• the product purchased must be whole and complete and must be returned in its original packaging; in order to limit the possibility of damage to the original packaging, we recommend, wherever possible, that it be inserted into a second box in accordance with legal requirements; all expenses relating to the return of the product will be covered by the Client;

• Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. will not be held responsible in any way for damage, loss or theft of goods returned by means of non-insured delivery.

4.3 Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. will reimburse the Client the entire amount paid within 14 days from the receipt of the returned goods. The reimbursement will take place by means of a counter-entry of the amount debited on the Client’s credit card or by means of bank transfer. In the latter case, the Client will be obliged to provide Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. in a timely manner with the details of the bank account into which the refund should be made (Codes ABI and CAB, as well as the account number of the individual whose name appears on the invoice).

4.4 The right to rescind from the contract is totally inapplicable in the event that the product (packaging and/or contents) is not integral; this condition is essential.
Guarantees

5. All products sold by Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. are covered by the conventional guarantee of the manufacturer and by a 24-month guarantee for defects, in accordance with Legal Decree 24/02.

6. The 24-month guarantee, in accordance with the specifications of Legal Decree 24/02, is applied to any product that has a conformity defect.

7. In the event in which, for whatever reason, Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. is unable to provide the Client with a product under guarantee (renewed or replaced), Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. may proceed at its own discretion to refund the entire amount paid or to replace the product in question with another of equal or superior characteristics.

Privacy
8. The personal data requested during the placing of an order are collected and handled purely in order to satisfy the express requests of the Client and under no circumstances or for any reason will they be passed on to third parties. Libreria Concessionaria I.P.Z.S. S.r.l. guarantees that its clients receive the full respect of the law on the handling of personal data, as governed by the Privacy Code stipulated in Legal Decree 196 dated 30/6/2003.
